Cookies

This page describes the cookies used on vector-pulsehub.digital, how long they last, and how to accept or reject them. It should be read with the privacy notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Some are needed for a choice you make (for example, remembering that you rejected analytics). Others help us see which pages are read. They are not used here to build a trading profile or to follow you across unrelated sites for advertising.

Types we use

Essential. The consent cookie records whether you accepted or rejected analytics. It is set only after you press Accept or Reject on the banner. The site works if you reject: training pages, the enquiry form, and legal texts remain available.

Analytics. Set only if you press Accept. They help us see aggregate visits to pages such as the workshop and the journal. They are not required for teaching or for sending an enquiry.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
vectorPulsehub_cookieConsent Stores your Accept or Reject choice so the banner does not return on every page load. Until you clear site data (held in localStorage rather than a classic cookie) Vector Pulsehub (first party)
_ga Distinguishes visitors for aggregate page statistics if you accepted analytics. Up to 2 years Google Analytics (third party), only after Accept
_ga_* Keeps the analytics session state for the same purpose. Up to 2 years Google Analytics (third party), only after Accept

How to manage or disable cookies

On your first visit a banner offers Accept and Reject with equal weight. Rejecting analytics does not block the enquiry form or any training page. To change a stored choice later, clear this site’s data in your browser (the banner will appear again) or use your browser’s site settings to block cookies for vector-pulsehub.digital. Instructions for common browsers are maintained by the ICO and by each browser vendor.

Third-party cookies

If you accept analytics, Google may set the cookies in the table. Google’s own privacy wording applies to that processing. We do not load a marketing pixel, a remarketing tag, or a social tracking cookie as part of the default visit. Embedded images from public photograph hosts are requested by your browser as ordinary image files; they are not used by us as a consent mechanism.

If you disable cookies

The site remains readable. The banner may reappear because we cannot remember your choice. Analytics will not run unless you have accepted. Form validation still happens in your browser; sending an enquiry still posts to our mock acknowledgement file on this static host and, in production correspondence, to our email process described in the privacy notice.
