Workshop

Multi-timeframe swing planning workshop

Two days at a table with printed weekly, daily, and four-hour charts. You leave with a written bias, two or three candidate swings, and a rule for when the lower timeframe is not allowed to argue.

Small group working together at laptops and notebooks around a table

Duration

Two consecutive weekdays, 09:30 to 16:30, with a one-hour midday break.

Fee

£480 per seat, including the follow-up critique. A £120 deposit holds the chair; the balance is due fourteen days before the first morning.

Where

A hired meeting room a short drive from Penpont, Powys. One live remote seat is held for a trader who cannot travel; the remote participant works from the same printed pack and speaks during the plan-reading round.

Led by

Meredith Vaughan, with Callum Reeve sitting in on markup rounds when the group is at full size.

Who it is for

Swing traders who already take their own positions — typically holding a few days to a couple of weeks — and who keep getting pulled into lower-timeframe noise after a clean weekly read.

What you leave with

A repeatable order of work: weekly bias first, daily swing structure second, four-hour timing third, and a one-page plan that states invalidation before you touch the trigger candle.

Scope

Equity index futures, liquid UK and US large-caps, and major FX pairs that you already follow. We work from your watchlist as well as prepared classroom charts. Options, crypto scalps, and news-only discretionary calls sit outside this room.

Included

  • Two full days, 09:30–16:30, with a printed chart pack for the symbols we mark together
  • A one-page swing plan template (bias, structure, trigger, invalidation, size notes)
  • Guided markup of at least four live examples across weekly, daily, and four-hour sheets
  • A follow-up written critique of one of your plans, returned within ten working days
  • Tea, coffee, and a simple lunch on both days for those attending in Penpont

Not included

  • Broker recommendations, signals, or managed accounts
  • Intraday scalping methods or tick-chart work
  • Software licences, scanner access, or indicator packs
  • Overnight accommodation — nearby B&Bs in the Brecon area are listed in the joining note

How the session runs

  1. You send a short note of the markets you actually trade and two recent swings you took, winners or not.
  2. A joining pack arrives a week before: printing instructions, the plan template, and the first weekly homework chart.
  3. Day one is weekly and daily only. No four-hour sheet until the group can state bias and structure without peeking down.
  4. Day two adds four-hour timing, writes plans in silence, then reads them aloud against the higher-timeframe sheets.
  5. You leave with marked charts, one completed plan, and a date for the written follow-up.

Preparation

Print the weekly and daily charts sent in the joining pack at A3 if you can. Bring a pencil, a ruler, and two recent trade notes of your own. No laptop is required at the table; phones stay in bags during markup.

Limits

Eight seats. You should already keep a journal of your own trades. Complete beginners in chart reading are asked to take a chart review first so the two days are not spent on candle names.

Next step

Write with the month you can travel (or the remote seat) and the markets you follow. We reply with the next open dates.
